Start with the cash question
Before requesting a placement review, note when customers ask where they can get cash. Is that a regular question, or something that happens only during a special event? Does your business accept cash alongside cards, or require cash for particular purchases?
These observations are more useful than a broad promise that every retail location needs an ATM. We review locations individually and do not publish a universal transaction threshold.
Look at the proposed floor space
Choose a possible spot customers can find without stepping into a stockroom or blocking the checkout line. Then consider whether someone using the ATM would interfere with an entrance, display, or delivery area.
The US Access Board’s ATM standards address clear floor space, controls, and speech output. A machine’s features and its installed position both deserve review. An empty corner alone does not establish accessibility.
Agree on responsibilities before installation
Ask how the proposed revenue share works for your location and who your business should contact about a machine problem. The percentage is negotiated for each placement. There is no published earnings promise or standard payment arrangement to apply to every host.
