ATM Placement
Athens event businesses: plan ATM access beyond football season
Consider how Athens arena and other event activity affects ATM access at your business, including operating hours and shared-space approvals.
A business planning cash access around Athens events should look beyond football weekends. The calendar can include different kinds of visitors and different operating hours, so the proposed ATM spot needs to work for the business throughout the year.
Visit Athens reports that Akins Ford Arena opened in December 2024. Its 2026 announcement also discusses the Athens Rock Lobsters hockey team. These developments provide a reason to review an event-oriented business’s calendar; they do not establish increased ATM demand at any particular address.
Start with your own opening hours
List when your business is open and when an ATM inside it would be available. A nearby event that ends after your doors close does not make that indoor machine accessible to departing visitors.
Likewise, consider whether a pre-event line occupies the machine’s proposed space. Review the entrance, checkout area, and any shared corridors together rather than choose an isolated spot on a floor plan.
Decide who can authorize the placement
A tenant may have control over its own sales floor while a landlord controls common areas. Determine who approves the exact position, installation work, and access arrangements. Discuss those questions before comparing machine options.
Mentioning an arena or other venue is local context. It does not mean ATMs Atlanta has an agreement with that venue or supplies its ATMs.
Review the arrangement for a permanent business
If your business wants a permanent managed ATM, our placement service includes the machine, installation, wireless connection, repairs, and our cash loading. Revenue sharing is negotiated for the individual location. We review whether the business is a fit.
For temporary event equipment, ask specifically whether that work is available for your event. A permanent placement offer should not be read as a promise of event rental, outdoor equipment, or a particular setup date.
An effective location review can use the business address, its opening hours, the proposed spot, and the event calendar that actually affects it.
